July 2025 Product Release

Updated: 5 August 2025

Maxio is excited to announce the following updates and new features released during the month of July!

Selling

Redirect Users After Signup Success with a Configurable URL General Access

You can now define a custom redirect URL in the Signup Page configuration to automatically navigate users to a specific page after a successful subscription. (Released: 30 July 2025)

Why it matters:

Previously, users were shown a static success message with no next steps, creating a dead-end. This new option allows you to guide customers to a branded thank-you page, onboarding flow, or external resource, improving the post-signup experience and enabling deeper engagement.

Where to find it:

In the Custom Offer Signup Page configuration, look for the new Redirect URL after success field. When populated, the user will be redirected to this URL a few seconds after seeing the success message. Available in both Classic and Lightning Salesforce environments.

Display Customer Reference ID on Invoices General Access

You can now choose to display the Customer Reference ID on invoices across the UI, PDF, landing page, and JSON output by toggling a new setting in Documentation Settings. (Released: 17 July 2025)

Why it matters:

This enhancement provides flexibility for businesses that rely on Customer Reference IDs for ERP reconciliation or automated workflows. Previously, this information was omitted from invoice outputs, limiting downstream integration options.

Where to find it:

To enable from Advanced Billing, go to Config > Settings > Invoices, and under Invoice Customization, scroll down until you see the Documentation Settings. Check Show Customer Reference ID box.

Then, from the Settings page, set the Customer Reference ID value by going to Language Settings > clicking the Actions drop-down > selecting Customize Language. Scroll to Customer Reference ID Label and enter a value.

Drill Into Subscription Details From the Component Price Point or Product Pricing General Access

The Subscriptions count shown for each price point in the Component Price Point or the Product Pricing pop-up is now a clickable hyperlink (when greater than 0). Clicking the link opens a new browser tab with the Subscriptions List view filtered by the associated Component and price point. (Released: 2 July 2025)

Why it matters:

This update allows users to quickly drill into the list of subscribers behind each price point without losing their place in the Catalog. It streamlines the workflow for analyzing which customers are on which Components and price points, bringing consistency with other areas in Advanced Billing where Subscription counts are clickable.

Where to find it:

From the Product Catalog, the Subscription count appears when editing Products or Components. In both places, the Subscriptions count is now a hyperlink that opens the filtered Subscriptions list in a new tab.

New Invoice Line Item Renumbering Feature General Access

You can now control how line item numbers are assigned when importing invoice records. This is especially useful when grouping taxes or discounts, or when reimporting data that must maintain a specific order. (Released: 8 July 2025)

Why it matters:

Ensures imported invoices are structured clearly and consistently, which reduces downstream confusion during reconciliation or review. Especially helpful when combining partial invoices, correcting prior imports, or resolving sorting mismatches.

Where to find it:

Go to Additional Imports, Renumber Records and choose Invoice Line Items from the Maxio Object dropdown.

Improved “View URL” Functionality on Key Pages General Access

We’ve improved the Subscription, Invoice, and Maxio Signup Pages by separating the “View URL” action into two distinct buttons, making it quicker and more intuitive to preview or share hosted form links. (Released: 8 July 2025)

Why it matters:

This update improves user efficiency by providing quick, intuitive access to the public URL. By separating the open and copy actions, users can avoid misclicks and take the right action the first time. For instance, if a user needs to send a client their invoice, they can instantly copy the link or open it for review, saving time and streamlining communication.

Where to find it:
  • Go to the More Options section of an individual Invoice and click on the View Invoice Public URL.

  • From the Catalog, go to the following and click View Link:

    • Public Signup Pages List View
    • Offer Signup Pages List View
    • Billing Portal List View
  • Go to an individual Subscription Summary view and click on View Billing Portal Management Link to access the popup.

You will now see two distinct buttons:

Improvements to Invoice List View General Access

The Invoice List view now supports horizontal scrolling when all columns are displayed, making large datasets easier to view. We’ve also added updated pagination controls and a new items-per-page selector, powered by the Maxio design system, to improve navigation and usability. (Released: 14 July 2025)

Why it matters:

By enabling horizontal scrolling and adding intuitive pagination and display controls, users can now more easily navigate, customize, and interact with the data, ultimately saving time, reducing errors, and improving overall satisfaction with the platform.

Where to find it:

Go to Invoices in the sidebar. The new summary view loads automatically. Click on any row to access its details.

Clicking a Customer’s name from a Subscription now takes you directly to that Customer’s detail page, streamlining how you manage and navigate between records. (Released: 2 July 2025)

Why it matters:

Reduces clicks and confusion by aligning the UI with user expectations, making it easier to jump between related data.

Where to find it:

Anywhere Customer names are shown (Subscriptions, Invoices, Transactions, etc.) clicking on the Customer name link opens the Customer Detail page.

Reveal and Copy API Keys General Access

Admins can now securely reveal and copy existing API keys from the API Key management interface, improving usability without compromising security. (Released: 31 July 2025)

Why it matters:

Previously, API keys were only visible once at creation, leading to unsecure workarounds or unnecessary key regeneration. This update gives admins safe, convenient access to keys while maintaining auditability and access control.

Where to find it:

Under Config > Integrations > API Keys, Admins will now see “Reveal” and “Copy” options next to existing keys.

These features are restricted to Admin users only and may log usage for audit purposes.

Why it matters:

This enhancement provides greater transparency and clarity for users by ensuring all fees are tied back to specific transactions. It helps in accurate reporting and reduces confusion, thereby minimizing the need for support inquiries related to missing or unclear transaction data.

Where to find it:

You can find this feature in the Payments portal under the Transactions List page. Look for the new Transaction types "Fee" and "Transfer" in the Maxio Processing Fees column.

Sync QuickBooks Online Discounts and Credit Memos into Maxio Invoices General Access

QuickBooks Online invoice-level discounts and credit memos are now represented in Maxio Core invoices as negative line items, ensuring total alignment across systems. (Released: 22 July 2025)

Why it matters:

Previously, both invoice-level discounts and credit memos from QuickBooks Online were excluded during syncs, leading to discrepancies in invoice totals and reconciliation issues. This enhancement improves financial accuracy, reduces confusion, and minimizes the need for manual adjustments.

Where to find it:

In your QuickBooks Online integration settings (/so/integration/quickbooks/settings/), configure the following options to define which Items to use for discount and credit memo lines:

  • Get Invoice Discount as — for invoice-level discounts
  • Get Invoice Credit Memo as — for applied credit memos

Syncs will be blocked for affected invoices until these settings are configured.
This feature is currently only available for QuickBooks Online accounts in the US.

Why it matters:

This update improves accuracy and speeds up Transaction entry by reducing item selection errors.

Where to find it:
