Define Momentum and Customer Count Target Sets, then attach them to Subscription Momentum reports to compare performance against ARR/MRR and customer goals. Include monthly values that align with the report's date range to ensure targets appear when the report is run.
There are two Target Set types: Momentum and Customer Count. A Subscription Momentum report can include one of each. Define as many Targets as you like. The relevant Performance sections display Target values alongside actual performance against them.

Any user with reporting permissions can view a Target Set, but creating or editing one requires Admin permissions.
To create a Target Set
Important: Only Target Set values that fall within a report's date range appear on the report. If the report's date range shifts, a Target Set with fixed dates stops appearing once the range moves past it.
For example, you build a single Target Set that has data from Jan 2016 through Dec 2016. You then define a Subscription Momentum report to run over the period Last Year and include that Target Set.
If you run the report in 2017, the report date range is Jan 2016 to Dec 2016, and your Target Set data appears. If you run the same report in 2018, the report date range is Jan 2017 to Dec 2017, and your Target Set data does not appear. To correct this, either build and apply a new Target Set, or modify the existing one and add Target values for each month in 2017.
To modify an existing Target Set, go to Admin > Target Sets, select the Target Set, then click Add / Edit Entries to extend its date range.
You create and maintain Customer Acquisition Cost Sets the same way, and you can select one alongside your Target Sets on the same Subscription Momentum report. See Use Customer Acquisition Cost Sets.
For how Target Sets and CAC Sets both fit into Subscription Momentum reporting, see Understand Metrics and Targets.
