Understand how the Xero Lock Date interacts with Maxio Platform's own Closing Date to block changes to Invoices, Contracts, and Transactions dated before the lock.
Maxio Platform supports three distinct Closing functions: Closing Date, Transaction Lock Date, and Xero Lock Date. Used together, they prevent changes to Transaction, Revenue, and Invoice records. Whichever date is later, the Maxio Platform Closing Date or the Xero Lock Date, is the date Maxio Platform enforces.
Once the Xero Lock Date is set, Maxio Platform blocks certain actions (such as editing or deleting) on records dated on or before that date:
