Maxio released the following updates and new features during August 2026. Maxio adds new entries to this list throughout the month as features become available.
Accounting
The Country and State/Province dropdowns in a Contract's Addresses section now include a search box, so you can type to filter the option list instead of scrolling through it. This brings the Contract form in line with the Country/State dropdowns already available on the Customer and Invoice forms. (Released: 25 August 2026)
Learn more
- Why it matters:
- Finding a specific country or state in a long dropdown list is faster when you can type to filter, especially for accounts working with customers across many regions.
- Where to find it:
- When adding or editing a Contract with Use Contract Billing Profile checked (or on a QuickBooks Job/SubCustomer Contract), open the Billing or Shipping Country drop-down in the Addresses section and start typing to filter the list. State/Province gets the same search behavior when your account has Advanced Billing Invoicing Suite access.

New sortable prepayment balance column in the subscriptions list
You can now add a Prepayment Balance column to the Subscriptions list view, so you can review prepayment balances across many Subscriptions at once without opening each one individually. (Released: 27 August 2026)
Learn more
- Why it matters:
- Reviewing prepayment balances for financial forecasting no longer means opening each Subscription's Prepayments tab one at a time.
- Where to find it:
- From the Subscriptions list, open the column selector and enable Prepayment Balance. The column is off by default. Once enabled, click the column header to sort by balance. Balances display in each Subscription's own currency, and the column is available across all billing models.
Expand Tax ID country list for South Africa, Albania, Algeria, India, and Switzerland
You can now select South Africa, Albania, Algeria, India, and Switzerland from the Tax ID: Country drop-down on a Customer record, alongside the other non-EU countries already supported. (Released: 20 August 2026)
Learn more
- Why it matters:
- Customers in these regions no longer need a custom-field workaround to record a tax identifier. You can now capture it directly on the Customer record, the same way you already can for countries like Australia, Canada, and Norway.
- Where to find it:
- Navigate to a Customer record and open the Tax ID: Country drop-down within the Customer Invoicing and Taxes configuration settings. South Africa, Albania, Algeria, India, and Switzerland now appear in the Other Countries group.
Selling
Expand Salesforce support for subscription auto-renewals
Salesforce users can now view, configure, and report on subscription auto-renewal settings directly within Salesforce. This update replicates Maxio's auto-renewal logic, including renewal factors and term configurations, in the Salesforce Managed Package. (Released: 10 August 2026)
Learn more
- Why it matters:
- Sales and success teams can align subscription terms and pricing adjustments before and after activation without switching between Maxio and Salesforce.
- Where to find it:
- Auto-renewal configuration is available in the Subscription Preview within Salesforce when the
isAutoRenewalsEnabled setting is active at both the Maxio Site and Salesforce Managed Package levels.
