Applies to: All Maxio modules

Last updated on Nov 5, 2026

Maxio released the following updates and new features during November 2026. Maxio adds new entries to this list throughout the month as features become available. For the full list of changes, see the Product Change Log.

Billing

Set invoice details once on a contract or project and its invoices inherit them

You can set Payment Terms, a Memo, an e-Bill Theme and billing and shipping addresses on a Project, alongside its Purchase Order Number. Invoices that Maxio generates for the Project, including those regenerated when a Milestone's Triggered Actions run, take these details, and when you change them you can apply the changes to the Project's existing Invoices that can still be modified. You can also set a Purchase Order Number, a Memo and a Theme on a Contract: its new Invoices use them when their Project doesn't set one, and Projects linked to the Contract's Transactions fill their blank fields from it. On accounts that use Projects, a setting also passes the payment terms and addresses from the Contract's billing profile. (Released: 4 November 2026)

Why it matters:
You enter a Project's invoice details once, and every Invoice generated for it carries them, so you don't need to re-enter them each time the Project's Invoices are regenerated. Details you enter on a Contract reach its Projects and Invoices too, so you key them in only once.
Where to find it:
On an account that uses Projects, open a Project, select Edit, and expand the Invoice Details section. Theme appears when e-Bill is enabled. To review these details across Projects, add them as columns on the Project List. For how Maxio applies them, see Manage Project Details and Milestones. On a Contract, select Edit and fill in the Invoice Details section. To pass billing profile payment terms and addresses as well, go to Admin > Account Settings, edit the settings and turn on Cascade Contract Billing Profile details to projects and invoices under Projects. See Contract Fields Reference.

Bill an annual usage allowance with monthly overage on hybrid pricing

You can now give a metered Product with Hybrid Pricing a rating interval. A rating interval is the stretch of time over which Maxio adds up a Customer's usage, for example a year of usage billed monthly. The Primary Model's single bracket sets the usage included for the whole interval, and once the Customer uses it up, each month's overage is priced on the Secondary Model's tiers from the overage they have already reached. (Released: 5 November 2026)

Why it matters:
You can sell an annual commitment that includes a set amount of usage and bill overage monthly, and the monthly invoices add up to what the annual pricing gives for the year's total usage.
Where to find it:
This works on a metered Product's hybrid Price Point whose Primary Model is Tiered with a single bracket that has an ending quantity, and whose Secondary Model is Tiered, on sites with Hybrid Pricing enabled. For how usage is priced, see Report Product Usage and Allocations. Look for it here if it's available to you.

Accounting

Import Advanced Billing components in bulk

You can create quantity-based, metered and on/off Components in Advanced Billing from a CSV file, each with a default Price Point priced per unit. (Released: 1 November 2026)

Learn more
Why it matters:
You can load a whole Component catalog in one import when you migrate to Advanced Billing, instead of creating each Component one at a time, and re-running the same file doesn't create duplicates.
Where to find it:
Go to Admin > Import > Create and choose Components. Import your Product Families first, since each Component row names its Product Family by Handle. Component imports appear only once Advanced Billing is connected and Maxio staff have turned the Advanced Billing importers on for your account. For the steps, see Import a Product Catalog from a CSV. Look for it here if it's available to you.

Bring credit memos from Campfire into Maxio

A new Get Credit Memos step in the Campfire integration imports credit memos you create in Campfire into Maxio, and keeps linked credit memos up to date with your changes in Campfire. Credit memos that Maxio sent to Campfire are matched to the originals, so they aren't imported twice. (Released: 2 November 2026)

Learn more
Why it matters:
Credits you issue in Campfire show up on the Customer's records in Maxio without being entered twice, so your Maxio credit memos and your general ledger agree.
Where to find it:
Go to Left Menu > Campfire, then the gear icon (Integration Settings), and turn on Get Credit Memos in the Synchronization table. The step is off by default. For how each credit memo is handled, see Sync Data Between Maxio and Campfire. Look for it here if it's available to you.
