CyberSource Gateway Setup Guide

Connect CyberSource to Advanced Billing to process credit card transactions through CyberSource's payment platform.
Important: CyberSource isn't available in the standard gateway picker by default. Contact Maxio to request access for your site.
Merchant ID, security key, Cardinal Cruise credentials, SCA, and p12 certificate
- Merchant ID: Your CyberSource account username.
- Security Key for the SOAP Toolkit API: Generate this in your CyberSource account. See the steps below.
- (Optional) Cardinal Cruise Api Identifier, (Optional) Cardinal Cruise Api Key, and (Optional) Cardinal Cruise Org Unit ID: Required for 3DS 2 Payer Authentication. Contact Cardinal or your CyberSource representative to receive these values.
- Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) Enabled: Turn this on if your CyberSource account processes payments subject to PSD2 SCA requirements.
- p12 Certificate file and p12 Certificate password: Optional certificate-based authentication credentials for your CyberSource account.
To get a Security Key for the SOAP Toolkit API
- Log in to your CyberSource business gateway.
- Go to Account Management > Transaction Security Keys > Security Keys for the SOAP Toolkit API.
- Click Generate Key.
- Copy the new key into the password field of your payment gateway configuration in Advanced Billing.
Requirements
- Both Payment Tokenization and Recurring Billing must be enabled for your account for Advanced Billing to process transactions successfully. Request this through CyberSource Support if you receive a "General Failure" error.
- CyberSource requires billing address and phone number. To best integrate with Advanced Billing, check the Require billing address? setting for your Advanced Billing product.

CyberSource allows multiple currencies in a given account.
