Public Pages are highly customizable white-label pages that you can use as the public-facing side of your subscription business. They're a quick and easy way to integrate with Advanced Billing without having to worry about collecting credit card information or writing custom code yourself.
Because the pages are hosted by Advanced Billing, card details are entered directly into Advanced Billing rather than passing through your own application. This is what keeps this route simple from a compliance standpoint.
There are two types of Public Pages available to merchants in all Advanced Billing plans:
The distinction is who each page is for: a signup page faces prospects who don't have a Subscription yet, and a self-service page faces existing subscribers managing one they already have.
You can also use custom JavaScript and CSS to customize your pages to match your company's current branding and style.
If you need information on configuring the look, feel, and behavior of your Public Page, see Configuring Public Page Default Settings for the defaults that apply across every page, and Scope Custom JavaScript to a Specific Page when a script should run on some pages but not others.
See Understand Self-Service Pages for how existing subscribers manage their Subscription.
See Understand Bank Account Verification Pages for verifying bank account payment methods via a Public Page.
See Explore Billing Portal Topics for the Billing Portal, a related but distinct set of public-facing pages for existing subscribers.
