eWAY Gateway Setup Guide

Connect eWAY to Advanced Billing to process credit card transactions through eWAY's payment platform.

Important: eWAY is a deprecated gateway. New Advanced Billing sites can't select eWAY. This guide is for sites that already had eWAY configured before deprecation.

Customer ID, username, and password

• Username and Password: The values you use to sign in to your eWAY Business Centre on the web.
• Customer ID: Located at the bottom of your eWAY Business Centre.

If your Advanced Billing site is in test mode, you can only use credentials for an eWAY sandbox account. You can use credentials for a live account once you transition the site to live mode, or by creating another site in live mode. If your Advanced Billing site is in live mode, you can only use an eWAY production account. Request a sandbox account from eWAY if you want to test.

Requirements

For eWAY to function properly, you must submit a billing address with every signup. Set the billing address as required in your Advanced Billing product setup.
