First Data Global Gateway e4 Gateway Setup Guide

Connect First Data Global Gateway e4 to Advanced Billing to process credit card transactions for USD and CAD. First Data also refers to this gateway as Payeezy.

Important: First Data Global Gateway e4 isn't available in the standard gateway picker by default. Contact Maxio to request access for your site.

ECOMM terminal gateway ID and password

To find your Gateway ID and generate a password

1. Log in to your First Data account.
2. Click Terminals on the right side of the page.
3. Select your ECOMM terminal.
4. On the Details page, find your Gateway ID. This is your login.
5. Click Create next to Password to generate a new one.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update.

Note: Before you click Update, the password field still appears filled in. You must click Update for First Data to save the password.

Requirements

• The gateway must approve subscription transactions and recurring payments (TransArmor). Contact merchant services to enable this. It takes 24-48 hours to take effect once added to the account.
• If you're testing transactions in a First Data test account, use any four-digit value, such as 1234, in place of a token from your merchant services provider to enable tokenization.

Advanced Billing supports this gateway for USD and CAD transactions only.
