Create a Planless Subscription
Follow these steps to create a subscription without a plan:
- Navigate to Subscriptions and click Create Subscription.
- Leave the Plan selection blank and begin adding Products.

For each product, select a billing interval.
A billing interval is required for every product. If any product is missing an interval, the system will block subscription creation and display a validation error.
- Observe that the Subscription Term field is by default set to Evergreen.
- Complete customer and payment details.
- Click Create Subscription to save the record.
Best Practices
- Audit Your Reports: If you rely on CSV exports or automated scripts, update logic to use “Plan” instead of “Product” as a column header.
- Verify Product Families: Ensure your Products are organized into the correct Product Family, as Product Family names are now visible in the Subscription Summary for planless configurations.
- Use Navigation Shortcuts: In the Subscription Summary, click the “(Product Family Name) X Products” link to view detailed product allocations.
