Review the following considerations when testing Apple Pay:
You must complete production testing to fully validate Apple Pay functionality. Sandbox testing alone does not confirm that the payment button will render correctly in your live environment.
If a buyer reports that their Apple Pay transaction is failing at checkout, the following Apple-imposed restrictions may be the cause. Review each scenario below and share the relevant testing recommendation with your team or buyer.
Restriction: Apple blocks Apple Pay from completing on a laptop when screen-sharing software is active at the time of the transaction attempt. This is an Apple security restriction and is not controllable by Maxio.
