Set Up Multi-Currency Routing

Route payments to the correct currency automatically by adding multiple Maxio Payments Merchant IDs (MIDs) as individual gateways on your site. When a transaction is initiated, the system matches the bill's currency to the corresponding MID and settles funds in that currency, with no manual intervention required.

How it works

By adding multiple Maxio Payments MIDs as individual gateways, the system can automatically route payments to the correct gateway based on the transaction currency. This ensures that funds are settled in the appropriate currency for each MID.

To configure multi-currency payment routing

1. Navigate to your site's gateway settings.
2. Add a new Maxio Payments gateway by entering the specific Merchant ID (MID) for the desired currency.
3. Repeat the process for additional MIDs as needed.
4. Configure your routing rules to ensure transactions are directed to the correct gateway based on the currency of the bill.
