Learn how to customize the display name, avoid common reference errors, and understand the limitations of using iframes on your Public Signup Pages (PSPs) in Advanced Billing. Whether you're integrating signups with your existing system or updating your branding, these tips will help you configure your PSPs effectively.
WARNING: If you embed Hosted Pages in an iframe, you assume the associated technical risks. We do not support issues caused by using Hosted Pages inside an iframe.
Embedding Advanced Billing Hosted Pages inside an iframe can lead to browser security issues and may prevent the pages from functioning correctly.
Hosted Pages require the ability to set a cookie in the Customer’s browser to operate correctly. When our pages are embedded in an iframe, some browsers treat these cookies as third-party and block them. Browser security policies continue to evolve, and consistent functionality within iframes cannot be guaranteed.
Alternatives include:
To remove the Company name from Public Signup Pages, upload a custom logo for each Site. The uploaded logo will replace the default Company name and can be customized to display your desired text or branding, such as acme1.com.
When using unique reference numbers to link Customers in Advanced Billing with your internal system, note that Public Signup Pages always create a new Customer and Subscription. Therefore, these pages should only be used for the Customer’s first signup.
To create additional Subscriptions for the same Customer, use the API and include the existing Customer’s ID. Alternatively, create new Subscriptions manually in the application by selecting Select Existing Customer.
You can also use Components to represent additional items within a single Subscription.
