Add the Issue to Billing Portal Cadence Step

Add the Issue to Billing Portal action to a Cadence Template so eligible Invoices are automatically published to the Billing Portal at the timing you configure.

Prerequisites:

• You have access to the Cadence editor.
• The cadence template already includes Invoice-based timing rules, for example, “X days before due date.”

To add the action to a Cadence

1. From the Admin menu, under Invoicing, click Collections & Dunning.
2. In the Cadence Templates tab, hover over the hamburger menu to the left of a template and click Edit.
3. In the Cadence editor, add a new step.
4. From the Action drop-down, select Issue to Billing Portal.
5. Configure the timing rules for the step, for example, “three days before due date.”
6. Save the cadence.

Each cadence template can include Issue to Billing Portal only once.
