Set up the Salesforce integration end to end, so your team can work with Advanced Billing subscriptions, products, and transactions without leaving Salesforce. Each step below links to the full instructions for that step, so use this page as the running checklist and follow the links when you need the detail.
Work through these five steps in order. Each one links to its full instructions.
These settings determine sync timing and what moves between Advanced Billing and Salesforce. Review them and make any changes you need before you turn the integration on.
The two directions behave differently. The batch sync setting determines when Salesforce pulls data from Advanced Billing through the API, on the batch job timing you configure. Changes made in Salesforce sync to Advanced Billing immediately.
Important: The settings come pre-configured, and the defaults work for most sites. Change them only where your workflow needs something different.
Turning the integration on starts the sync with your Advanced Billing Sites. See Enable the integration.
The final installation steps add the Advanced Billing action buttons and fields to your Salesforce views, so the integration is usable from the records your team already works in. These layouts are recommended rather than required, so add or skip fields and buttons to suit your workflow.
Click through the installed Salesforce integration and confirm everything looks right. If something is missing, go back through the steps above to find the one that was skipped.
Neither of these is required to run the integration. Add them if they fit how your team sells.
A custom offer signup page is an externally available offer summary page you can share with a Customer for secure self-signup. Reach it from Opportunity > Subscription Preview > Generate Signup Link. See Configure Custom Offer Signup Pages.
